Hi Matt, yep your right I'm a gloucester boy, thanks for being so kind I will be on this site to find out more I've always been put of Renault with bad press on reliability but the laguna is a nice looking car and the keyless system is pretty cool so couldn't resist. I will have a look into coming to the meet sounds good as I am now hooked
Thanks again ps love the site

Yes I've had 2 Lagunas and loved both but I do prefer my old Laguna 2.0 Turbo 53-reg but got written off so I bought other 2 cars Vauxhall Astra I didn't like so I sold tried another Vauxhall which was a Vectra I hated that one as in the past before owning a Laguna I've owned quite a few Vauxhalls and wanted to get back into it but I realized they weren't the car for me so I searched and searched for another Laguna and came across a 2.0 dCi 150 I never heard of as I was gonna go for the 175 looked into the 150 version and it came out cheaper on insurance like over £100 so I went for it and still have it now a year on in which I'm happy to keep Very Happy. I don't know what the normal 2.0 petrol one is like but I know the interior and exteriors on them are very similar you can't tell difference very much but anyways I hope yours don't course any problems just keep an eye on oil etc and service say every 10,000 miles is more recommended then 12,000 but do service more regularly if only doing short journeys and the car should be ok. I think people are giving bad write ups as there not looking after them I've found both of mine reliable it past MOT straight away last month with no problems whatsoever which I was really happy Very Happy about was worried it wasn't gonna pass Shocked.
Post me a private message if you're not far from me in Gloucester ill post a free sticker to you through your door lol as I live in Gloucester Wink.

Really gloucester cool, I've tried many cars from mini,s to big American 4x4 my favourite was the old Ford capri (I'm old) but alas never to return so I've been searching for an replacement. My latest was a cougar ok but no gizmos but the laguna I've found is lovely inside and out I think it is a sdi privilege and not to be presumptuous but has the extras of an American car but a more economical engine and has an individual style not like all the other same same modern cars out there. After what you have said I'm confident it was a right choice and can enjoy driving it and being a member a great community your creating. Thanks for the offer I will message you I would love a sticker cheers Very Happy
