| Had a good look around a phase 2 laguna today and to be honest I prefer the LOOK of the phase 1, I think the front looks better, like the way the grill stands out which makes it look cleaner and meaner ... I like minimal things, which means again the phase 1 wins. I like how you can hide the stereo and how simple the dials look, not too keen on the coloured dials and the stereo in view all the time on the ph2.
I love all the extra bells and whistles you get with the ph2 but I still prefer how the ph1 looks !!
The above is my personal opinion

| I agree with you on the front but i think interior on the phase 2 is alot nicer . I was thinking about putting a phase 1 front on mine | |

| even thought they are both lagunas they are completely differant, the ph2 is like a smoothed out version of the ph1, re-styled not to look as mean and moody, the ph2 looks a happy car !!
it would be like having surgery to make you look older ... !!!

| Except Steve you will have to change the lights, bonnet and the grille of course you wanna change as the front is all different altogether on the phase 2's. I personally think it's not worth it just buy a cheap phase 1 unless you can buy a phase 2 as cheap as possible to do this. | |

| The Dynamique Techno is best on interior wise on the phase 1 it has a smoother dashboard the others aren't smooth and I don't like the look of the other dashes in the phase 1's but all phase 2 dashboards look the best. I think the phase 2 front grille looks the best in the blue I have. | |

| Yeah it's easier doing that way but I'd rather do it the other way as you can have the car longer as it's younger as well but that's what I would do anyways. | |

Oh yeah forgot about those as well think I'll do what onlinestevie said if I ever bought a phase 1 again or just buy the Dynamique Techno model if you can find one cheap but finding one is rare especially a Black one.

| I've seen quite a few Lagunas in error of 2001 - 2005 phase 1 and they seem in way better condition than a lot of other cars for their age take example like a Mondeo 2001 the very late mk2's and early mk3's seem to suffer badly on condition especially the mk2's with duck tape on bumpers lol. | |

your right, in theory !! it all depends how the car has been looked after, mine is 11 years old and are newer cars that are not even close to the condition mine is ....
