Hi, Checking in to the club. Have just bought an 04 Laguna 2.0 Turbo extreme tourer. 101,000 miles and the most complete history file I have ever seen. Is there anything on it I should watch out for?. I'll get some pics posted when the rain stops.

Charlie

Hi there nitrader and welcome to the club I'll say a few lists later but I'll start off with one that's popped into my head before it goes. Do a service on the car roughly 9,000 to 10,000 miles if doing longer journeys or if doing shorter ones do it more regularly like say 3,000 to 5,000 ish to keep the car up and running properly. I used to have a 2.0 Turbo in a different model they are good cars I miss the noise when kicking in the engine slightly, you would hear it more in the evening time than in the day as it's quite quiet. Anyways like I said before welcome to the club and you're welcome to post pictures of your pride and joy.

Thanks. Rear bushes, TCA's and Balljionts all changed in the last 15000 miles, so should be grand for a day or two yet.

Usually nearly everything has to be repaired on a mk2 Laguna unfortunately but the 1 I have owned in the past and another I own now both were ok I'm just hoping mine won't need too much repairs as a lot hasn't been done on it in the past it's been reliable so far but I will be doing the front discs and brake pads soon as they are looking on the rusty side on some bits but didn't come up on last MOT so should be ok still for a month or 2. Oh another problem Air-Cons seem to go I know it's not a major big problem but thought ill let you know.
