| Hi guys, I just bought my 51 plate 1.9 dci dynamique, and I have to say it is by far the best car I have ever had, and I have ice a few, from vauxhalls to BMW's and my laguna is my favourite. Will post some pics of her when I get chance. | |

| Hi there spitfire1979 and welcome to mk2 Laguna OC. Nice car you have there . To littleotter the estates are getting hard to find a good one I think people now a days are just using them for taking stuff to tip and other stuff that is messy etc and don't care how they treat them. Not trying to be offence to anybody in any way as obviously everybody has their own opinion on things .

| And mine is gonna be as well not modifying mine too much maybe a twin exhaust for the exterior to make it look slightly better and that's it I'm not gonna go over the top like some people do. I've only added phase 1 5 spoke 17" Louxor alloys in which does improve the looks imo as it was only sitting on 16's before and didn't like them as much. | |

| I might do the same to be honest. Maybe a few things under the bonnet but nothing major. And maybe a better stereo and speakers! | |

| Yeah I've got a JVC stereo now but just remember the controls on steering wheel won't work until you buy a device for your new head unit also you will need to buy a surround frame http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/160855984861 otherwise it leaves a big gap. | |

Sorry to call it that couldn't think of anything else LOL........the left switch is for the electric aerial so if i'm listening to the SD player i can "put the aerial away", the "clock thing" is a turbo boost gauge (not piped in yet), and the right hand switch is the day running led lamps over-ride switch . I've taken a load of pic's during fitting so i can post a little "how to" on here shortly Regards, jamie.

I haven't looked yet on the Laguna but fitted one on my old discovery. It was just a matter of cutting the small bore rubber pipe that goes from the turbo to the waste-gate fitting a small t piece (supplied with gauge) and running another small bore hose from the t piece into the car and connecting to the gauge.

| I gotta say, i do love the tourer, and in that colour, not to mention the wheels, easily my fave of the laguna alloys. Looking forward to seeing more of this one, mind you there's very little you need to do by the looks of things.
A glaring endorsement from you also being your fave above bms etc, while I love my 16v cabbys and the like I think as a daily runner my lag has to be my favourite and slowly and surely i'm ironing out the few minor problems it has
welcome to the forum by the way. also cracking job on the dash there littleotter, where did you get the flat blanking panel for the top din? ideally I'd have one of the european spec safrane double din radios in mine as they had full equalizer, tape, cd and an aux input, plus the coolest of all displays, the only draw backs are they go from about 200-550 second hand and dont retain the laguna dash display which to me is very important

| its actually quite simple, good call on the silk too actually, even normal gloss spray looks great on that surface
. fold the wing mirror fully toward the front of the car
. in the top corner of the glass closes to the vehicle using a butter knife gently lever/pop the glass out
. make sure to keep an eye on it so it doesnt fall but if its heated the wires will prob leave it just dangling there, i left mine like that all through the procedure
. once the glass is out fold the mirror vack to the normal position youll see that the coloured backing is held on in four places, the actual cover clips in so use a phillips head to gently push these in the correct direction while gently pulling the mirror cover.
. once the mirror cover is off lock at the back of the mirror itself you will see that the black front surround of the mirror is also held on in the same fashion as the cover, again use your phillips to pop the catch clip things while pulling the mirror surround, itll come off without much resistance
. Now youll have both the the major parts, there is also another smaller part of the surround that will more than likely still be attached to the car, this bit when looking up from below the mirror is closest to the body, just grab that and wangle it a little and itll come off
. To spray the base itself Youll need to go all out and actually detach the entire mirror unit from the car although you could just mask take your time and mask it off too which would be easier
